America’s Best Helps Communities by Donating to Those in Need

It’s the holiday season! A time when many of us like to give back. But sometimes it can be hard to find a convenient program in which to participate. Here’s a helpful hint for this year: Check your local America’s Best retailer first! That’s right. America’s Best Contacts & Eyeglasses locations partner with a number of organizations to help their local communities by donating food and other gifts. Some stores will work with organizations like Toys for Tots or similar community initiatives to collect toys for children in need. Other retail locations will collect books, coats or similar items to provide for those in our communities who could use a little help this time of the year.

What can you donate? You can stop by your local America’s Best to find out.

Do you have old eyeglasses? There may be an opportunity for you to donate these at your local America’s Best. Community organizations such as the Lion’s Club organize eyeglass drives in towns and cities across the country (usually year-round!). This civic organization recycles eyeglasses and provides eyeglasses for those who can’t afford to get them any other way. See if your America’s Best retailer participates in this program!

America’s Best is proud to give back to the communities they serve. In fact, through a new partnership with the Boys and Girls Clubs of America we are giving back all year long as we work to get underprivileged children free vision screenings, eye examinations and even prescription eyeglasses. If you are interested in this program, you can learn more and take part by clicking here.

We invite you to be a part of the good work we are doing to give back during the holiday season and all year round. So, stop by, check out the latest selection of designer eyeglass frames or make an appointment to get your eyes examined (It’s likely been a year already!) and then ask how you can help America’s Best make a difference in your community!
